It was so very hot the weekend I went to New York and I had brunch with a friend of mine at this place. Mind you, the windows were open and it was just so noisy from the traffic outside. Nonetheless, mimosas were great and the food was good.

I've passed by The Daisy countless times and finally stopped in for diner and was pleased. The servers were attentive, the lights are dim and the place has a nice ambiance and the food and drinks were very good. My friend and I started with a margarita flight ($35). This was a good deal given that you get three full sized margaritas and the other cocktails on the menu cost $16 each. We tried the kiwi, mango and coconut. The mango was my favorite. The kiwi flavor was too subtle in my opinion. The coconut was good. We also ordered the gnocchi which had a rich and creamy pesto sauce and was very good. The Caesar salad had a light dressing, parm cheese and croutons- this was good but not super special. We also got a side of fries which were crispy and lightly salted. They were enjoyable! We were pleased with our food and drink choices. It's worth noting that just after 10pm on Saturday nights the atmosphere shifts and the music gets very loud so if you're in the middle of a conversation, it's not ideal, but if you're looking for this vibe, you'll find it here!

This is a pretty cute spot in ues. My review is only based on the drinks since I didn't eat here. I had the bloody orange (I think that was the name) it was spicy and delicious. The bartender, Ellis was friendly, attentive and made great drinks. The service and ambience is amazing here. The bartender mentioned that dogs are allowed for outdoor dining so I might bring my friend and her dog here sometime.
